DIY FACE SCRUB WITH EVOO

Face Scrub with EVOO on Dry Skin

If you have dry skin, EVOO will become your best friend. Don’t use olive oil on skin prone to acne and eczema. Simply mix a tablespoon of EVOO with a teaspoon of Greek honey, and  finely ground coffee beans, sugar or oatmeal. Alternatively, you can mix ground chamomile with extra virgin olive oil, sugar and a drop of calendula essential oil. Apply little by little, using circular movements, then leave the scrub to dry on your face for about 10 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. Use a warm, damp towel to remove any excess oil.

Face Scrub with EVOO on Oily Skin

If you have oily skin, EVOO might not be the best option here. It is still recommended to do a face scrub once a week but without the oil as the main ingredient. That way you’ll keep your skin clean and glowing, removing any dead cells, black heads and excess oil.

Face Scrub with EVOO on Combination Skin

We can use face scrub with EVOO for combination skin types as well. When applying the face scrub, remember to focus on your problem areas, such as nose, chin and forehead. Be gentle and avoid eye contact. Wash your face with warm water and use a warm damp towel to remove any excess oils.
