Kardamas began in 2014, rooted in the olive groves of the Peloponnese near Olympia, where the land, the harvest, and the table have always been deeply connected. Our story started with Greek extra virgin olive oil — the product that best expresses our respect for origin, simplicity, and authentic Mediterranean flavor.

Behind that beginning is a longer family tradition, passed down through generations since 1932. Every harvest is approached with care: olives grown under the Mediterranean sun, gently cold-pressed, and naturally settled to preserve a clean, balanced character. For us, quality is not just a label — it is the result of patience, restraint, and respect for the ingredient.

Today, Kardamas is growing beyond olive oil into a curated Greek artisan pantry. Alongside our flagship extra virgin olive oil, we bring together pantry essentials such as sea salt, whole olives, oregano, and honey — each chosen for purity, authenticity, flavor, and character. As a Greek American, David’s connection to Greece grew from his early visits as a teenager, where he fell in love with the culture, family life, and everyday richness of the Greek table. After building his own accounting and tax business in the U.S., he began importing Greek olive oil in 2014 with his cousin, driven by a belief that authentic Greek products deserve a stronger place in the American market.

Today, he leads Kardamas as a growing Greek artisan pantry, bringing together extra virgin olive oil, honey, sea salt, oregano, whole olives, and selected handmade goods. His focus is to build the brand with care, trust, and a strong network of family, friends, and customers who appreciate real Greek quality.
